1. " Siddhartha felt his blood heating up, and since in this in this movement he had to think of his dream again, he blend slightly down the woman and kissed with his lips the brown nipple of her breast. Looking up, he saw her face smiling full of lust and her eyes, with contracted pupils, begging with desire. Siddhartha also felt desire and felt the source of his sexuality moving; but since he had never touched a woman before, he hesitated for a moment, while his hands were prepared to reach out for her, And in this moment he heard, shuddering with awe, the voice if his innermost self, and this voice said No. Then, all charms disappeared from the young woman's smiling face, he longer saw anything else but the damp glance of a female animal in the heat."
The lesson in this paragraph from Siddhartha is to resist temptation or lust over negative feelings or thoughts such as violence, greed, things you need for your own pleasure, and in this case, sex. Also you can say this paragraph has another lesson as well. The lesson being think before your actions, think of the consequences as well as the benefits and decide which are more important. For example, the benefits of smoking are a brief sense of pleasure while the consequences are life lasting heath problems. Which would you rather have?
Some ways, I could put the lesson of this paragraph into my life is think before my actions. When encountered a situation where you must decide over two or more things, think of the benefits and consequences of each thing and see which will be the best choice due to have better benefits and less consequences by using your conscience as well as common sense. Another thing is try to avoid temptation of things you don't really need.
2. " You aren't satisfied with Siddhartha as he is, with oil in his hair, but without clothes, without shoes, without money?"
The point Siddhartha is trying to make I think is that no matter how much you please someone, some people will never be satisfied with you due to their nature such as them being stubborn, you aren't like them, or not liking you who you are. The best you can is try to please them the best you can but in the end failing or leave them to find people who actually appreciate you.
A way I can bring this advice in my life is by being myself when I'm around people instead of pretending to be someone else. When the people who pretended to be find out that you are really not like them, they will leave. Another thing I can do to follow this advice is to find and hang out with frinds who actually like me for who I am.
